Chris and his Team have dealt with numerous building Projects for us over many years, from gutting and refurbishment of a 100 year old house to the new-build in which we currently live. Project Management and the resulting outcomes have always been first class.
As always, Chris and his team have produced excellent and timely work, at fair and reasonable costs, with meticulous attention to detail. He has endured a picky client based virtually on site, and suffered substantial specification upgrades and amendments, all with good humour and grace. The various Authorities have signed off his work without demur and have even expressed their admiration for his careful and accurate approach to numerous Regulations.
His Team are able, competent and hard-working Tradesmen, producing work that not only meets all the voluminous regulation, but is also stylish and attractive. Chris has built an amazingly warm, fully insulated and beautiful home where the fit and finishes elicit positive comments from all our visitors - we are extremely pleased with the results of his work.
He is a good leader whose staff remain with him as a fair and efficient “Boss” - this is always a good indicator of good management.
Over the years, we have trusted Chris to carry on the positive traditions of his father, himself a much respected builder over many years.

Over the past 2-3 years they’ve built a rear extension to our house, and made alterations made to the front, including decorating. We employed Lilleystone Builders to take overall control of the re-roofing of our conservatory and repair the house roof and decorate the side of the house, all at the same time. This meant they had to co-ordinate the various trades and subcontractors so that we weren’t left with an open roof and so that the project was finished as quickly as possible as it was early Spring 2015. We had roofers, decorators, builders, electricians and floor layers all working at various times.
Chris was very good at managing the project, sorting various problems and chasing up whenever there was an issue. He was particularly good at firmly but politely making sure that issues with the Conservatory Roof were properly sorted out.
We would be happy to recommend him and all at Lilleystone Buiders and would happily use them
again in the future.

Chris has completed two major renovations on our house including recent extensive improvements on the 1st floor and a large loft extension. Chris and his team built our extension starting at the beginning of March 2020 - with lockdown and restrictions it could have been a complete headache, but Chris and his team could not have been more considerate.
